The Best Gift of All

I’m thankful that the pain my back is finally gone. I consider it to be one of the greatest presents of all time, because that pain was so aggravating. I would always feel it when I woke up in the morning and when I went to bed. Sometimes it would even prevent me from falling asleep. Even though I would take over the counter medication to dull the pain, it was never enough. Once I had enough, I looked for a good chiropractor in Bakersfield CA that could possibly do something about my pain.

I was prepared to face the worst possible outcome for my back pain. If there was a chance that I would need to have surgery, I was ready to take it. I’ve been through surgery before, and it wasn’t as bad as I initially thought it would be. The recovery period is a lot faster than it was in the days when my parents were growing up. The hospitals are ready to send you home after only being there for a couple of days. I guess with all of the patients they get, they have to free up some of the rooms for the new people.

The chiropractor told me that he had some good news and some bad news, and he gave me the bad news first. I was thinking that he would tell me that I needed surgery, but it was way more mild than that. The chiropractor told me that I wouldn’t be able to do anything strenuous for a period of time. The good news was that my back would be able to heal with just a little bit of rest and some medication. That was the best news that I could have hoped to hear. Who knew that it would be so simple to eliminate the pain.
