I recently did a search at my local library and found that they have 430 “weight reduction books” in their collection. In comparison they only have 111 books on “religion” and 83 on “political science” (but 1,389 on “cookery” and 624 on “parenting”).

At the same time, you will have the opportunity to create supplements that are actually useful for your specific needs. So, you have both the options, it is up to you to choose the one that is most suitable for you.
