A Return to My Glory Days

Written By: Jones - Jul• 26•17

For as a long as I can remember, football has been an intricate part of my life. When I was a little boy, I remember watching football on television or live with my father. We had such a good time together. My father enrolled me in a junior football league. We won many games. My love of football traveled with me all the way to college. I received a full scholarship. One day, I wanted to relieve those old days. I tried to play football and hurt my back. I needed a Round Rock chiropractor to heal my injured back.

Two weeks ago, I received a call from one of my old friends from school. He told me that a couple of my old classmates were getting together for old times sake. They even wanted to play a game of football with me. I was so eager. I had not seen some of these people in twenty years. It was going to be a blast. My wife on the other hand, was not so enthusiastic. She told me I was too old to play football. I told her that even though I was forty, I was still a force to be reckoned with on the field. I should have listened to my wife.

The big day finally came. I met up with my old classmates. I was great seeing them again. My friends and I geared up to play. I caught the football and almost made touchdown. Unfortunately, I slipped and landed on my back really hard. I was in a lot of pain. I had to go to the hospital. Luckily, nothing was broken. I went to a chiropractor to heal me. She was very nice. Her techniques help my back heal very quickly. Next time, I will listen to my wife.
